Iraq Centre for Research & Strategic Studies held the conference of Iraqi Academics for the period June 19-20, 2004.
Goals of the conference...
The goal of the conference is to enhance and activate role of Iraqi academics in rebuilding Iraq according to the basis of justice and partnership between all Iraqi factions. This requires development of democratic dialogue, culture of tolerance and peaceful social coexistence as well as respecting the opinion of one another and establishing the civil society organization and their contributions in enhancing democratic transformations in new Iraq and assuming their full role in enlightening the politicians to solve social problems by removing the reasons of these problems.
