This study aiming to define the impartment of Arab Gulf in global strategies, especially in American strategy and the position of Iraq in American strategy through during Cold War period and confrontation with the Soviet Union. American strategy in the post Cold War period reflected on its dealing with the Iraq during 1990s. And the nature of its strategy after invasion Iraq in 2003 as well as the future of the Iraqi position in the American strategy after 11 Sept. 2001.
