Iraqi Scientific Elites & The building of new democratic Iraq

ICRSS WOMEN STUDIES: Focus on Iraqi women situations, spreading gender culture, eradicating anti-women discrimination. It also studies violence or its effects on women and families as a result of wars and military disputes. Also it is concerned with the pattern image of women in media or prevalent folk culture to change this image to the better.

Iraqi Woman Needs (coordinates with the Women for Women International Organization)- July 2004

Study about the Woman Needs helds by ICRSS by coordinates with the Women for Women International Organization in a sample size of 1000 in cases July 2004 which covered (Baghdad, Basrah and Nainawa) governorates.This study focus on:
1. The financial resources for Iraqi women.
2. Does the Iraqi women have enough share in the education opportunities, work opportunities, and medical care.
3. The reasons to limit women and girls education in Iraqi Society.
4. The voluntarily participates in programs of women centers.
5. The Iraqi women situation during the first year after APRIL 2003. Details
